Dr
Kevin Brown
Kevin
holds a BSc, MSc and PhD in Chemistry. He has worked in geothermal
since
1980, initially with DSIR at the Wairakei Research Centre, then with GNS and the
University of Auckland's Geothermal Institute, and finally as a full time
consultant and partner in GEOKEM (est. 1997).
He has
undertaken extensive research into geothermal scaling and production problems,
and worked as a consultant in New Zealand, Philippines, Central America,
Tibet, China, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea and USA. He remains a
Research Associate at the University of Auckland
and is on the
board of directors for the International Geothermal Association, where
he currently holds the post of Treasurer.
